Can I use POP3?
Probably, most existing email clients allow you to pull mail from POP3 providers. This includes Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, Thunderbird, Evolution, etc. Just check the settings for "Add Account".
Should I use POP3 instead of just visiting the Mailinator site?
That depends on your usage. If you like to receive newsletters or daily deal emails or any recurring type of email, then receiving those emails right in your regular inbox (marked as from Mailinator) is extra convenient.
How do I set it up?
pop server: pop.mailinator.com port: 110 username Anything you want! password 8 character random password. It can be anything but must be present. encryption off
